Got CTS or RSI? Should you give up your Mouse ?

San Francisco Carpal Tunnel Doctor comments:

I am often asked questions like "what is the best keyboard to use to prevent CTS ?" or "what kind of mouse works best if you have carpal tunnel syndrome or RSI ?", stuff like that. In actuality, there is no way for me or anyone for that matter to know what will work best for you. There are just too many choices, and everyone has a different level of tolerance and body type. So, the best thing I can do for you is to provide you with resources so that you can learn what is out there. Let me do the homework, then I can steer you in the right direction.

Anyway, here is an interesting article entitled Weaning Yourself From The Mouse that is posted on the always informative RSI-Relief Blog. Should you give up the mouse ? Maybe, but you are the one that needs to decide.

If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area and would like help with your carpal tunnel syndrome or any other repetitive stress injury, simply call us at 415-392-2225 and ask for a complimentary CTS evaluation.
