Cervical Disk Herniations and the DRX 9000c
The DRX 9000c is the sister to the DRX 9000 nonsurgical spinal decompression system. The DRX 9000 treats lumbar disk herniations, and the DRX 9000c treats cervical disk herniations. There are seven times more disk herniations in the lumbar spine (low back) then there are in the cervical spine (neck). And, neck surgery is considered much more invasive than lumbar back surgery. This is why it is a good idea to consider cervical spinal decompression with the DRX 9000c before you have surgery. Hey, you may go through the entire 6 week program and it does not help you, even though this is not likely. But, at least you will know. Here's the deal...Patients that have had cervical fusion surgery in their necks are no longer eligible for spinal decompression on the DRX 9000c. Of couse, not everyone needs spinal fusion. But any kind of surgery is risky and the down time can be great. Treatment with the DRX 9000c is very safe and gentle. Other than soreness, there are really no side effects. I do not know of any cases of nonsurgical spinal decompression therapy resulting in permanent bodily harm. So, think about it. You can always have surgery as a last resort.
