What is Spondylosis?

We read many x-ray and MRI reports at Executive Express Chiropractic in downtown San Francisco. One thing for sure...the nomenclature used to describe the various spinal conditions varies quite a bit.
When it comes to herniated discs, there has been a big push to standardize the language used to report findings...and it is working quite well (see: Nomenclature and Classification of Lumbar Disc Pathology).
But when it comes to other spinal pathologies, such as Spondylosis, sometimes it's hard to figure out what the doctor that wrote the report means.
So...I did a little research and found this excellent article on the always informative www.spine-health.com, entitled:
