San Francisco Herniated Disc Doctor Comments:
We have been helping patients with neurovascular compression syndromes of the cervical spine for over 18 years in the San Francisco Financial District (Executive Express Chiropractic, formerly Front Street Chiropractic). Some of the conditions we treat are cervical disc bulges, cervical stenosis, degenerative disc disease (DDD), and facet syndromes.
For the most we have been using our unique brand of spinal orthodontics which includes chiropractic adjustments, spinal traction, Active Release Techniques (ART), exercise, and patient education.
About 4 years ago we added nonsurgical spinal decompression with the DRX9000c (cervical spine disc repair) to the mix. We did this to improve our cervical disc treatment outcomes. Most would respond to our conventional treatment, but there was a subset of herniated disc patients that did respond...about 10-15%...which is still a big number.
The DRX9000c is able to isolate on a specific spinal segment, say C5-C6, and target a herniated disc. The DRX9000c enlarges the disc space, re-positions the disc, elongates the cervical spine, stretches the spinal ligaments, and creates a negative pressure which actually helps to pull the herniated disc fragments off the spinal cord and cervical nerve roots (which is what causes the pain and dysfunction). Cold laser is also built into the treatment process which helps to reduce inflammation, pain, and swelling.
Cervical decompression therapy with the DRX takes about 20-26 sessions over a 6-8 week period. The sessions are 1 hour long and include muscle stimulation and ice. There is an extensive in house and home care exercise program to rehabilitate the spine and teach the muscles to work with the spine in it's new position.
Does the DRX9000c help every single herniated disc patient that does the treatment? NO...just most of them. But here's the deal...If the DRX9000c does not help you at least you are still whole. Nothing has been cut out of you or fused...or injected into your body, and you can still pursue other treatment options. The DRX9000c is very safe and gentle. But you still have to qualify medically...not everyone does.
Anyway...we have had enormous success with the DRX9000c in San Francisco, and we can't imagine practicing without it at this point. Is the DRX9000c for you? Maybe...what you have to do is give us a call and make an appointment. Bring any x-rays, MRI's or reports you have about your condition, and we will let you know. It might just be the best decision you ever made.

We've also seen tremendous success in treating cervical disc herniations and degeneration with the DRX9000C in San Diego. We've been fortunate to see a few patients cancel their scheduled surgeries after getting relief with the DRX. This is consistent with other doctors that I've spoken with accross the country. Post DRX MRI's have shown significant healing. Amazing.

I prefer to use alternate treatments method as this way we can play it safe.

Operation carried out under the guidance of CT accurate and much safer than invasive procedures were similar under conventional mirroring until recently.
