The Executive Express Chiropractic "Patient of the Week" is Anthony Espiritu. Anthony presented to our clinic with chronic low back pain due to degenerative disc disease. Anthony had tried other treatments including chiropractic, but could not find the relief he was looking for. Anthony expressed to us that he wanted to return to playing competitive basketball and was doing research on-line to find a chiropractor that could help him. He read about our comprehensive approach and decided to give us a try.
It has been a little over 2 weeks now that we have been treating Anthony. We have been using chiropractic adjustments to the lumbar spine, sacrum, and pelvis to align Anthony's low back. We also found subluxations in the upper back and neck. In addition, Anthony had old injuries to his shoulders and arms that have responded well to treatment. We have also incorporated massage, traction, and custom exercises into Anthony's treatment plan.
Anthony played his first competitive basket ball game in a long time the other day and is excited about his future with les low back pain. Anthony also brought his girlfriend in to have her checked for subluxations.
